Twice as Good

If you are a woman (majority), Black,  Hispanic, or minority in this country, and seek recognition for your high achievement, it is necessary to be twice as good as your competition.  This is simple truth of our times.

Barack Obama is twice as good as the competition.

Rachel Maddow is twice as good as the competition.

If you’re a Black president, the situation is extremely dire.

The upside is a plentiful supply of diamonds in the rough.

Bad service requires more waiters. Fires everywhere requires more fighters. Crime requires more police. Elected oligarchy requires more congresspersons. Elected monarchy requires more presidents. America lacks governance? Keep the congress and add 11k more. Keep the president and add 8 more. Democracy disperses power. Autocracy consolidates power. Step it up, America.  Be proactive. Check out plan-b.

Citizen is coach to team democracy.  Coach is responsible for success.  It’s your call, coach.

Women and minorities are often given the upper hand by companies and our government not wanting to deal with discrimination, so white men (even if more qualified) are left in the dust. Government contracts are required to select businesses of women and minorities before ones owned by white men.
Obama was voted in for being black, not George Bush, and change. First, Obama is middle eastern, not black (at least he is less black than a KKK member with a blood transfusion of 1 pint of black blood). His color is more of middle eastern (which in sociological circles indicates caucasion) and his features are also middle eastern. His friends and policies throughout the world indicate a Muslim preference. I feel that he would have Bin Laden over to the White House for a few drinks, and a chat if he could. Next, there wasn’t a Bush in the bunch. Last but not least, he could have been promising to change his underwear when he promised change with specifying what he was going to change.

The phenomenon “twice as good” is a social distortion caused by too much autocracy in American institutions.

Autocracy does not recognize accomplishment or creativity. It is only concerned with consolidation of power and success at this consolidation. Autocratic consolidation is undemocratic and leads to social distortions like “twice as good”.

MARP advocates a drastic infusion of citizenship into our democracy. This is healthy change.
