Bin Laden was a delusional impoverished pathetic human being relegated to infamy. His followers are all of similar mold and destiny. The bin Laden news cycle exists to praise America’s monolithic elected monarchy that managed justice, after 10 years (two plus election cycles), at back breaking human cost and sacrifice.
Today’s global democracies face much graver threat from social, economic, and political demography as the planet population increases. Massive unemployment exists in emerging nations with young populations seeking freedom and economic justice. Herein lies the real threat to America and herein lies the only real long-term solution to terrorism.
When more prosperous world nations struggle unsuccessfully with their own employment, social, and economic justice, what hope exists for third world populations? The bin Laden news cycle is a morbid diversion from these more pressing problems veiling urgent need of social, economic, and political reform in global leadership nations.
If America truly wants to stamp out terrorism, it will not be done with raids on pathetic human beings. It will be done with social, economic, and political reforms that truly address the heart of relevant issues and solutions. America is best advised to look inward to the real problems underlying the tragedies of terrorism. America is best advised to get its own house in order in a way that can truly meet the challenges of the third millennium.
