Failings of Radicalized Middle America

Radicalized middle America occupies two fronts, the wealthy elite and the desperate poor.

Both fronts represent lines of failure (to integrate) for middle America.  To succeed, middle America must effectively govern two radical extreme fronts and constantly minimize damage.

Failings of the wealthy elite:

• Getting past personality in social, economic, and political spheres.
• Sharing resources.
• Over concentration of privilege, excessiveness, elitism, and special interest.
• Unwillingness to accept equality.
• Complete immersion in economic paradigms at expense of other values.
• Acceptance of wealth increase with no visible productive return output.
• Over riding suspicion of change as challenge to wealth.

Failings of the desperate poor:

• Getting past personality in social, economic, and political spheres.
• Failure to accept help and resources.
• Over concentration of victimization, suffering, loss of control, and powerlessness.
• Unwillingness to accept equality.
• Complete rejection of economic paradigms at expense of other values.
• Acceptance of desperate poverty and rejection of hope.
• Over riding suspicion of change as potential for increased suffering.

Dysfunctional dynamics of wealthy elite and desperate poor.

• Wealthy elite rule and desperate poor are subjects.
• Wealthy elite have privilege and desperate poor have subjugation.
• Wealthy elite have power and desperate poor have hopelessness.
• Wealthy elite accept all rewards for success.
• Desperate poor ignore all rewards for success.
• Wealthy elite blame desperate poor for all failure.
• Desperate poor blame wealthy elite for all failure.
• Wealthy elite and desperate poor, without middle America, defines the third world.

Functional dynamics of wealthy elite and middle America.

• Taxation relieves responsibility and obligation to properly manage resources.
• Regulation and oversight guides and guarantees proper resource management.

Functional dynamics of desperate poor and middle America.

• Charity dispels hopelessness.
• Education empowers.

Middle America political governance must include understanding of wealthy elite and desperate poor paradigms.   This understanding must be anchored by proper representation of wealthy elite and desperate poor in government.  How many desperate poor inhabit congress today?  Middle America’s management of extreme fronts is the challenge of the second millennium.

Wealthy elite and desperate poor must be adequately (not overly) represented in democratic institutions.  Middle America’s fate is to properly balance government representation for middle America’s success. The second millennium requires greater governance skill and sophistication.  Plan-b is attempt to ramp up democratic institutions to meet second millennium challenges.

Bad service requires more waiters. Fires everywhere requires more fighters. Crime requires more police. Elected oligarchy requires more congresspersons. Elected monarchy requires more presidents. America lacks governance? Keep the congress and add 11k more. Keep the president and add 8 more. Democracy disperses power. Autocracy consolidates power. Step it up, America.  Be proactive.
